Teladoc Health is expanding its virtual care offerings through Walmart’s Better Care Services platform, giving customers access to services including urgent care, dermatology and nutrition support.

Customers can access Teladoc Health’s services through insured and cash-pay options, including an $89 cash-pay rate per visit, according to a May 28 news release.

Available services include 24/7 virtual urgent care for common conditions such as sinus infections and UTIs, dermatology consultations through photo uploads reviewed within 24 hours, and nutrition counseling for diabetes, weight management and prenatal support.

The collaboration also allows prescriptions to be sent to Walmart pharmacies, where same-day delivery is available in many locations.

The partnership expands on Walmart’s existing virtual care offerings and follows the January launch of BetterHelp mental health services on the retailer’s Better Care Services platform.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
