The deal, expected to close in the first quarter of 2025, aims to strengthen Teladoc’s position in the integrated virtual healthcare space by enhancing its preventive care capabilities, according to a Feb. 5 news release.
The acquisition comes as Teladoc Health continues to expand its suite of virtual healthcare services, leveraging Catapult Health’s at-home diagnostic testing and virtual preventive care model. With this move, Teladoc aims to drive early detection of health conditions, improve patient engagement and enhance care management for its more than 93 million members.
