Chicago-based Rush University System for Health has launched a new digital care membership service as part of a broader effort to expand and streamline virtual care access.

Here are three things to know:

  1. The new membership program, Rush Connect+, is available for $19 per month or $189 annually.

  2. It offers 24/7 nationwide access to virtual urgent care and personalized support through a dedicated human assistant, available daily by chat or phone to answer questions, book appointments and help patients navigate care, according to a July 10 news release.

  3. The membership is part of Rush Connect, a new platform that unifies Rush’s digital health offerings, including virtual primary and urgent care, a mobile app, chatbot tools, and a virtual specialty care program with same-day or next-day appointment availability in areas such as cardiology, dermatology and weight management.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
