CMS is requiring all healthcare providers to use HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms by Aug. 10, the California Medical Association reported July 23.

With the end of pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities, CMS gave providers an extra 90-day window to become compliant, according to the article. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 9.
