NY health network taps swyMed for telemedicine

Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network will implement video telemedicine at 15 school-based health centers through a partnership with swyMed.

Under the agreement, swyMed will provide the school medical offices with networking infrastructure capabilities to enable real-time video consultations. These telemedicine encounters will connect students with remote medical staff.

“SwyMed’s solutions were built around the need to create highly reliable wireless connections to allow for live telemedicine consults in areas where bandwidths are limited at best,” said Stefano Migliorisi, CEO of swyMed.
