Under the partnership, rural Madison Memorial Hospital intensive care unit patients in need of specialized services will be able to access University of Utah Health clinicians via video conferencing.
“We know patients and their family members don’t want to travel while dealing with healthcare crises,” Gordon Crabtree, interim CEO of University of Utah Health, told KIFI Local News 8. “Because of this agreement, the people of Madison Memorial don’t have to travel to receive critical care.”
