The independent physician group, formerly part of George Washington University, provides around-the-clock services to remotely connect patients with physicians through its global operations center. The group delivers its services through smartphone apps and video conferencing technologies.

SOSi International, a Reston, Va.-based defense contractor, will work with GW Medical Faculty Associates as it prepares to deliver remote care to deployed personnel across the globe.

“SOSi is accustomed to working in the world’s most challenging environments,” said Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOSi International. “Working directly with GW-MFA will help improve the care we provide to deployed personnel, providing innovative new tools to instantly connect patients and care providers.”
