The Connect2Health Task Force, a multidisciplinary effort aiming to improve broadband-enabled healthcare, wants more information on how the FFC can enable the adoption of projects like telehealth and mobile health. In particular, the FCC is seeking comments on health IT policies, wireless infrastructure needs and consumer awareness of the value of broadband in healthcare.
“Broadband networks are increasingly important to our national well-being and everyday lives,” the task force said in the public notice. “As such, we must maximize their availability and ensure that all Americans can take advantage of the variety of services that broadband enables.”
