Aspirus Iron River Hospital launches overnight hospitalist services via telehealth

Aspirus Iron River (Mich.) Hospital partnered with Traverse City, Mich.-based Indigo Health Partners to offer telehealth hospitalist services for night coverage, according to an Iron Mountain Daily News report.

The services, which began Aug. 8, enable Indigo Health Partners’ hospitalists to remotely monitor patients at Aspirus Iron River overnight using two-way video.

Indigo Health Partners is a physician-led private group that offers post-acute and long-term care services as well as hospitalist services.

Aspirus Iron River Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with private patient rooms.
