5 health systems launching new telehealth services

As the digitization of healthcare accelerates, more health systems are taking advantage of telehealth tools to provide care at a patient’s convenience.

Here are five health systems launching telehealth services Becker’s has reported on since May 15:

  1. Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health launched a new center focusing on providing telehealth to older adults.
  2. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health will provide telehealth services to the U.S. State Department.
  3. Jamestown, N.Y.-based UPMC Chautauqua won a grant from Univera Healthcare to launch new behavioral telehealth services.
  4. Fredericksburg, Va.-based Mary Washington Healthcare launched a new virtual nursing program at its Stafford (Va.) Hospital.
  5. Orlando (Fla.) Health launched a new virtual care clinic at a local convention center.
