TeleHealth Services, UbiCare forge partnership: 4 things to know

Raleigh, N.C.-based TeleHealth Services has formed an exclusive partnership with UbiCare, a digital healthcare communications and technology company headquartered in Jamaica Plain, Mass.

Here are four things to know about the new partnership.

1. The partnership will initially focus on two different programs: Moms & Families and Orthopedics – Total Joint Replacement Surgery.

2. TeleHealth Services and UbiCare hope to improve patient engagement in both these areas.

3. The two companies will offer healthcare providers access to a messaging and education platform.

4. "This partnership emphasizes the need to reach its combined coverage of more than 9,000,000 patients with the right information at the right time in a way that is actionable for each patient and their caregivers," said UbiCare CEO Betsy Weaver. "Research has shown that providing an automatic, sustained connection, focused on just what the patient needs at that moment, improves HCAHPS and outcomes, and documents the meaningful usage of their EHR along the way."
