TCI Software, a provider of healthcare software programs, has released new software entitled Rounds 2.0.
Here are four things to know.
1. Part of Rounds 2.0 is an expansion of TCI's ROI Calculator, according to a news release. TCI said this tool aims to help users track the cost savings realized from reduced admissions, emergency room and physician visits, and wellness program outcomes.
2. Other features of the new software include real-time dynamic updates, new charts and graphs, and enhanced drill-down analytics, the release states.
3. Additionally, TCI said, Rounds 2.0 is able to overlay third party data — so users can compare their performance with regional and national statistics — and is able to link to follow-up appointment setting programs.
4. "The new analytics allow hospital and clinic administrators to link their quality of care and patient satisfaction data to the resulting cost savings benefit," Tim Maroney, TCI president and CEO, said in the release. "This has been an elusive goal because quality and satisfaction measures aren't often linked to financial performance."
