More than half of healthcare stakeholders cited Amazon as the technology company most likely to impact the industry in 2018, according to a Venrock survey.
For the survey, Venrock polled 300 respondents from provider organizations, academic institutions, insurance companies, health IT startups, larger employers, government agencies and investment firms about their healthcare predictions for 2018.
Here's what respondents said when asked: "Which of these companies will make the most progress in healthcare in 2018?"
1. Amazon: 51 percent
2. Apple: 26 percent
3. Google: 18 percent
4. IBM: 3 percent
5. Microsoft: 2 percent
