Steward operates 38 community hospitals in the U.S. and in Malta. The hospital operator is implementing several Wolters Kluwer solutions including Lippincott Procedures, Advisor, Professional Development Collection and Blended Learning for its nurses; Ovid for its clinician and research teams; and Sentri7 for its infection prevention teams.

Steward’s staff already uses Wolters Kluwer’s UpToDate, an evidence-based clinical decision support system.

“As a fast-growing organization, we are focused on ensuring patients benefit from the best possible standards of care at every Steward hospital,” said Joseph Weinstein, MD, CMO of Steward Health Care. “With Wolters Kluwer Health, Steward is confident our nurses and doctors are relying on the most current, evidence-based knowledge and technology that is optimized for their unique workflows.”
