The sounds are currently recorded using a third-party application, but Paul Park, MD, Hummingdoc’s founder, is working to create an in-house app that patients can use with the adapter. Prior to founding Hummingdoc, Dr. Park worked at a personalized medicine startup company called Cipheorme in Cupertino, Calif. Other than Dr. Park, the start-up includes four members.
“Basically what we are trying to do is humanize medical products,” said Dr. Park, according to the report.
