Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center outsources IT support

McComb-based Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center entered into a multiyear agreement with Phoenix Health Systems for IT department management as well as software and infrastructure support.

Phoenix Health Systems is a provider of hospital IT outsourcing and consulting services. The company will oversee the 165-bed hospital’s medical software platforms, offer infrastructure support via onsite and remote personnel and remotely monitor the hospital’s IT environment.

“With the Phoenix partnership, Southwest Regional now has an established source of expertise that will not be diminished by geography or labor fluctuations,” said Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center CEO Norman Price.
