Siemens Healthineers purchases Medicalis Corp.

Siemens Healthineers signed an agreement to acquire Medicalis Corp., a health IT company based in San Francisco and Kitchener, Canada.

Siemens Healthineers will integrate Medicalis’ clinical decision support, imaging workflow and referral management solutions into its population health management portfolio. These services aim to help hospitals and health systems improve physician productivity and scheduling management.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.
