Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group earns HIMSS O-EMRAM Stage 7 designation

San Diego-based Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group achieved Stage 7 on the HIMSS Analytics Outpatient Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.

The medical group, which is affiliated with San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare, uses Allscripts TouchWorks EHR, a multispecialty ambulatory solution. Sharp Rees-Stealy is a multispecialty medical group with 22 locations throughout San Diego.

Achieving O-EMRAM Stage 7 shows an organization has reached an advanced level of implementation and utilization of IT applications. To achieve Stage 7, an organization must undergo a site visit by a HIMSS Analytics executive and former or current CIOs.
