Seattle Children’s CIO Zafar Chaudry wins ORBIE award

Zafar Chaudry, the senior vice president, chief digital officer and CIO of Seattle Children’s, has won the Seattle healthcare ORBIE award, according to a June 24 press release.

The awards are determined by peers in the technology community and consider the best use of leadership and management, business value driven by innovation and community engagement. 

Mr. Chaudry won the award in the category of healthcare for companies with over $2.5 billion in annual revenue. The CIO of Evergreen Health in Kirkland, Wash., also received an ORBIE award under the category of large corporate company with more than $400 million in annual revenue.
