This go-live marks the first wave of Scripps’ Epic launch, encompassing 35 facilities. Scripps will launch a second and third wave over the next year, until all Scripps facilities are on a singular integrated EHR.
“While there is definitely a learning curve, there is also an overall positive attitude and a commitment to success in implementing Epic’s capabilities,” Mr. Van Gorder wrote. “You can be certain we will take that optimism and all we’ve learned and carry it over to our launch planning for waves two and three.”
