In addition to the app’s step tracker, daily activity log and health tips, the new Samsung Health app also includes telehealth capabilities, supported through a partnership with American Well.

The new telehealth service, called “Ask an Expert,” enables users to connect with one of more than 1,200 board-certified physicians who can answer health questions, write prescriptions and offer diagnoses.

Each visit is $59 without insurance. This price may decrease, based on a user’s insurance coverage.
