The board of trustees at CHIME named Dr. Rab chair-elect in early 2018.
Dr. Rab has served as a CIO at various hospitals over the last 20 years, including at Hackensack (N.J.) University Health Network; Greater Hudson Valley Health System in Middletown, N.Y.; and St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, N.J. He completed his medical degree and internal medicine residency at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.
CHIME elected Dr. Rab to its board of trustees in September 2016, during his tenure as vice president and CIO of Hackensack. He began his board term Jan. 1, 2017.
