The challenge, “Aligning Forces for Quality,” tasks developers with creating applications for smartphones, iPads and other devices using data from RWJF’s Aligning Forces for Quality initiative, the organization’s program to improve healthcare quality in certain communities.
In the first phase of the challenge, developer teams will submit new applications using the AF4Q data. In the second phase, developer teams will work with AF4Q communities to refine their applications. The winners will be announced in June 2012 and will receive $100,000 for first place, $25,000 for second place and $5,000 for third place.
