Rob Foster to step down as Navy CIO

Rob Foster will leave his post as CIO of the U.S. Department of the Navy, a department spokesperson confirmed to Federal News Radio.

Mr. Foster joined the Navy as CIO in June 2015 after serving as deputy CIO for HHS. It’s unclear who will take over as CIO after Mr. Foster’s last day at the department Aug. 19.

In his new role, Mr. Foster will serve as the deputy CIO for the National Credit Union Administration.
