Riverside Medical Center, a long-term Omnicell customer for supply chain operations, decided to partner with the company once again for medication management when plans for its new pharmacy and hospital floor were announced.

Additionally, Omnicell XT Automated Dispensing Cabinet offers new features, which also influenced Riverside’s decision. The new features enable interoperability with the Epic EMR system, removal of redundant tasks and more patient interaction for nurses.

Riverside Medical Center will begin the first phase of Omnicell installations this December, when its new neurology and orthopedic floor opens. More implementations will take place in 2018.
