Cottage Hospital became one of eight critical access hospitals to attest to meaningful use stage 2 during the first qualifying period in 2014, due in large part to Mr. Frederick’s efforts as director of IT. The 35-bed institution employs around 300 individuals and has 35 medical providers on staff.
