Patient Safety Awareness Week Theme is Commitment to Safe Care

The National Patient Safety Foundation announced the theme of this year’s Patient Safety Awareness Week March 3-9 is “Patient Safety 7/365: 7 days of recognition, 365 days of commitment to safe care.”

The theme is intended to reflect the need for dedication to safe patient care every day.

Patient Safety Awareness week will include patient safety-related activities for healthcare providers and consumers, including a webcast on medication safety and a twitter chat on opioid safety.
