Renee Fosberg. CIO of Emerson Hospital (Concord, Mass.). As CIO of Emerson Hospital, Ms. Fosberg is involved in the hospital’s information technology department and efforts. Prior to stepping into her current role, Ms. Fosberg was senior director of applications, where she was instrumental in efforts to develop a health information exchange across the hospital’s many affiliated physician organizations, which were operating under separate EHRs. Under her leadership, the hospital achieved recognition as one of Hospitals & Health Networks‘ Health Care’s Most Wired hospitals in 2016. Prior to joining Emerson, Ms. Fosberg was applications manager at Boston-based Caritas Christi Health Care.
