The deadline to submit electronic clinical quality measure data and to attest to meaningful use of EHRs for the calendar year 2017 is March 16.

In February, CMS extended the deadline from Feb. 28 to March 16 in an effort to reduce administrative burden placed on hospitals.

The deadline for hospitals in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program to request an extraordinary circumstances exception is still April 1 for calendar year 2017 reporting.
