For its Social Determinants of Health 2019 report, Reaction Data polled 61 decision makers in areas including IT, finance and population health at healthcare organizations across the U.S.
When asked what technologies and services their respective organizations currently have in place to support SDOH programs, participants said the following:
· Care coordination: 20 percent.
· EHR: 18 percent.
· Telehealth: 14 percent.
· Data analytics: 13 percent.
· External transportation services: 12 percent.
· Mobile applications: 9 percent.
· Connected home monitoring: 5 percent.
· Artificial intelligence: 4 percent.
· Wearable technology trackers: 3 percent.
· Other: 2 percent.
