Providers’ No. 1 Data Security Concern

 
Healthcare providers see unauthorized access by an employee as their top concern when it comes to data security, according to a survey from KLAS.

The second most commonly cited concern revolved around personal mobile devices and related encryption and system access issues.

To help manage security concerns, providers are turning to third-party vendors. The three most commonly used vendors include CynergisTek, Deloitte and Verizon, according to the survey.

The survey results are based on responses from 106 providers.
