The company appointed Keith Fernandez, MD, national chief clinical officer and Fred Taweel, MD, CMO — Mid-Atlantic Region, as of Nov. 1.
Dr. Fernandez previously served as senior physician executive at Privia Health. He is the former CMO of Houston-based Memorial Hermann ACO. Dr. Taweel serves as chairman of Privia Health’s board of governors. He will continue to serve as board chairman in addition to his new role. Dr. Taweel has been “integrated into Privia since the very beginning as part of the first practice,” said Dave Rothenberg, president of Privia Health, in a statement.
