The platform is currently live at eight Prisma Health hospitals after its recent launch at the former Greenville (S.C.) Health System’s facilities. Greenville Health System and Columbia-based Palmetto Health merged earlier this year to form Prisma Health.
Gozio Health, developer of the Prisma Health GO mobile app, will oversee the expansion. The wayfinding platform provides indoor navigation to more than 10 million square feet of the 14 Prisma Health campus locations, which includes 15 hospitals, nine healthcare facilities and 16 parking decks. The health system’s 300 satellite locations will also be covered by the app.
In addition to wayfinding abilities, Prisma Health patients who use the app can access physician directories, medical records, urgent care and emergency department wait times and a parking location tracker.
