Here are three things to know about the deal.
1. The signing brings the total number of physicians under management of Phynd’s platform to more than 250,000, according to a news release. The 411-bed UC Irvine Medical Center has 25,000 providers.
2. Officials said UC Irvine Medical Center chose Phynd to help improve their provider data.
3. “We are pleased that the healthcare industry has recognized the value of Phynd’s technology platform, and we look forward to helping other hospitals and health systems like UC Irvine improve their provider information, productivity and care coordination,” Tom White, CEO of Phynd, said in a prepared statement.
