Connected health solutions that Philips offers, such as its Lifeline medical alert services, eCardCoordinator and eCareCompanion applications, will be able to integrate with third-party device data, enabling a more comprehensive view of overall health and specific conditions for users.
“Philips and Validic share a similar vision on connected health and recognize the importance of leveraging digital health data collected outside of the clinical setting to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes,” Ryan Beckland, CEO and cofounder of Validic, said in a statement accompanying the partnership announcement.
