Philips Healthcare Advances Suite of Telehelath Programs

Philips Healthcare's Hospital to Home Group has announced the launch of eCareManager 4.0, a software platform that powers the company's telehealth programs and expands its telehealth capabilities into acute care.

The new platform offers population management services, clinical decision support and care coordination tools. The platform also provides new features, including increased vital sign monitoring, compliance support and assistance with care transitions.

"While eCareManager is a critical piece of our offering, delivering higher standards of care requires more than technology alone," said Derek Smith, CEO of Philips Hospital to Home, in the news release. "The insights we're able to derive from our patient-centric approach to telehealth result in vast improvement in outcomes and cost savings for hospitals and health systems alike."
