Panasonic’s Healthcare Division Sells for $1.67B to KKR

New York City-based private equity firm KKR has announced plans to purchase the healthcare division of Panasonic in a deal valued at about $1.67 billion, according to a Reuters report.

Panasonic Healthcare makes electronic medical record systems and blood sugar monitoring equipment, according to the report.
