New York Attorney General Letitia James and New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital reached a settlement, which calls for the health system to pay $300,000 for using advertising tools that shared personal information with technology companies. 

More than 1 million patients at Corewell Health may have had their information exposed as the health system's population health management vendor, HealthEC, experienced a data breach, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said Dec. 26.
