OSU Health Sciences to implement Epic EHR

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa plans to implement Epic's EHR platform, according to a Tulsa World report.

OSU-CHS signed an agreement with Mercy Technology Services, the IT division of St. Louis-based Mercy, which received accreditation as an application management and hosting provider of its own Epic EHR system as a software-as-a-service model.

Mercy Technology Services works with approximately 40 hospitals and 700 clinics and outpatient facilities, both within Mercy's system and outside of it.

Mercy has been managing Oklahoma State University Medical Center, a partner of OSU-CHS, since May, according to the report.
