Oracle expands blockchain development capabilities

Oracle added new features to its existing blockchain platform to give users the ability to develop, integrate and deploy new applications on the blockchain, according to AiThority.

The new release includes productivity enhancement and identity management features. Additionally, Oracle's data warehouse customers can now obtain transaction histories and data sets on the blockchain.

With the new features, Oracle aims to streamline the process of developing and integrating blockchain applications across an organization's network. Companies already using Oracle's blockchain will be able to move away from experimentation and toward production, in part by creating new applications from scratch or adding blockchain functionality to existing tools.

Through the blockchain, consumers can boost trust between diverse networks while increasing speed, security and efficiency of various business operations, including supply chain, fraud detection and payment processes, according to the report.
