ONC seeks a nurse informaticist

HHS’ ONC is looking to add a nurse informaticist to its team.

The job listing, reported by the Politico Morning eHealth newsletter, notes that the individual would work in the ONC Immediate Office’s Clinical Division and report to ONC’s chief clinical officer. Applicants must have a master’s degree in nursing informatics or board certification in nursing informatics.

The prospective hire would be charged with reducing administrative burdens for nurses, improving safety and rulemaking under the 21st Century Cures Act.
