The ISA is a consolidated list of standards and specifications related to the sharing of electronic health information such as medication lists, immunization records and test results. The advisory is broken into four sections: vocabulary/terminology, content/structure, infrastructure components and models/profiles.
Unlike last year, when the ISA was released as a static document, this year’s update has been released on an online platform. The platform will be updated on an ongoing basis to allow for timely information.
