Each Phase 1 winner will receive a $20,000 award. The total amount allotted for the two-phase challenge is $180,000.
The challenge involves developing an IT solution that tracks data provenance — similar to metadata. For the first phase, participants were asked to submit white paper proposals describing their current capabilities to demonstrate provenance of health data as well as a barrier they have faced.
Here are the first phase winners:
● Hyper E-Health
● RAIN Live Oak Technology
● 1UpHealth
● Emrify
For the second phase, participants will prototype their solutions, test performances and provide lessons learned.
