The company’s solution works by getting to know users, understanding where they stand in terms of healthcare needs and connecting them with an Accolade “health assistant.” Accolade says its solutions help minimize the amount of information patients need to keep track of and saves time because whenever they need assistance with anything healthcare-related, they reach out to one person who already knows everything about their care. Employers that partner with Accolade are able offer the service to their workforce.
Including the new funding, Accolade has raised more than $90 million this round. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its technology platform, R&D, and sales and marketing.
