Jackie Joyner-Kersee is a three-time gold medalist for the United States’ Olympic track and field team. Now, she can list investor, cofounder and head of wellness of Fitly among her titles.
Fitly is a Philadelphia-based digital health startup that offers a delivery service for healthy meal ingredients. It was born out of the Philadelphia Digital Health Accelerator at the University City Science Center, according to another MedCity News report.
Ms. Joyner-Kersee’s multiple roles will mesh wellness expertise with business development responsibilities, according to the report. She decided to not take a salary.
