The cross-industry network’s first project will address the use of distributed ledger technology in eHealth. Its six founding partners include IOTA Foundation, a nonprofit focused on standardizing open source protocols; Oslo Cancer Cluster, a research organization focused on cancer diagnostics; and the Norwegian Centre for E-Health Research, an assessment center focused on eHealth policy.
The network’s goal is to “strengthen Norwegian capabilities and grow opportunities for both public and private sectors in the space of Distributed Ledger technologies,” according to a statement by the IOTA Foundation.
