North Carolina HIE extends to skilled nursing facilities

The North Carolina Health Information Exchange will extend its connectivity to skilled nursing facilities across the state.

Wilmington, N.C.-based Liberty Healthcare, a system of 21 skilled nursing facilities throughout North Carolina, will be integrated into the network over the upcoming months.

NC HIE currently has nearly 800 sites linked to its network.
