New York Invests Additional $55M in EHR Adoption Statewide

The state of New York is investing $55 million to spur electronic health record adoption among the state’s providers, according to a report in the Albany Business Review.

Much of the money will be invested in health information exchange networks. The Healthcare Information Xchange of New York, a statewide HIE, will receive about $4.5 million, according to the report.
