New York Digital Health Accelerator showcases 6 startups, secures $3M in funding

New York Digital Health Accelerator held its third annual demo day Thursday, showcasing six startup companies that began working in the organization's mentoring program in September 2015.

The six companies are:

  1. Dorsata, a web-based program developer that enables clinicians to create, review and access care paths;
  2. Parable, a tele-monitoring mobile platform that allows providers to remotely monitor post-surgical patients;
  3. iVEDiX, a platform that enables users to aggregate information and create data visualizations;
  4. TelaDietitian, which creates custom meal plans for clinicians to give to patients via a smartphone app;
  5. OffTheScale,  a healthcare management system that includes activity tracking and other protocol to reverse the progression of chronic disease and;
  6. Wellth, which works to provide patients with evidence-based care options while promoting healthy habits.

During the demo day, the companies were able to secure $3 million in funding overall and finalized 14 pilot agreements.
