The collaboration aims to bring more physician practices to NJSHINE and introduce them to resources offered by the regional extension center to implement the necessary technology.
“NJSHINE provides a provider and a patient portal to facilitate patient care in our communities,” said Richard Wheatley, CIO of Cape Regional Medical Center in Middle Township, N.J., and treasurer of NJSHINE, in a news release. “NJ-HITEC’s track record of practice transformation and presence throughout New Jersey is well known. Working with NJ-HITEC allows us to reach out to physicians in an efficient and consistent manner.”
